MUAY THAI GRADING
When training Muay Thai Boran, it always gives you motivation if there is something to aim for.
According to Kru Muaythai Association grading system,
the level is called “Khan”.Just like other martial arts, Khan is also described with colors.For Muay Thai Boran, instead of the coloured belt on waist it is presented with the Mongkol (head ring) and prajets (arm rings).
For students, it is something to achieve.
For teachers, it is the sign of your knowledge and experience, efforts and contribution to Muay Thai arts.
Grading is for your knowledge, attitude and experience. Grading is not the title to compare with other people. It is the relationship between teachers and students.

Significance of Poomsae (Patterns)
The poomsae is a series of movements for offense and defense techniques which can be practiced and trained, even without the presence of your instructor, in accordance with the fixed movement of the patterns. Therefore, the poomsae has the ability by its practice, to make the trainee enhance the Kyorugi techniques (self defense) and apply techniques including special techniques which can be practiced in combinations,the training of each separate Poomsae has the ability to improve your level in movement,technique and balance in a correct way.
You will see a great improvement in your knowledge each time you succeed in your grading, giving you also great motivation and power.
